How To Use Rosemary for Hair Growth

Last Updated on September 16, 2024 by David Thomas

As you may know by now, I love researching holistic alternatives to medicine. The power of plants is truly remarkable. Rosemary has been on my radar for some time now and I’ve finally gotten to experiment with it.

There are a few theories as to how rosemary may help with hair growth. One theory is that the herb stimulates hair follicles, promoting healthy growth. Rosemary may also improve circulation to the scalp, which can help to deliver nutrients to the hair follicles and promote healthy hair growth.

Rosemary has also seen the same results as 2% minoxidil.  Minoxidil (the key ingredient in Rogaine) is one of the only proven ways to assist with hair growth. However, the key thing to know is that it takes longer to see the same results. So If you’re into natural remedies like me, just know that results take time depending on your current hair & scalp condition.

Minoxidil and Rosemary start working after about 4-8 weeks but you won’t see full results until about 4-6 months of continuous use.

Now, let’s get into how actually to use Rosemary.
