Are you searching for good quality clippers for home use but don’t want to spend a lot of money? Professional clippers can be quite expensive, with an average price range of $150-$250. However, cheap $25 clippers from convenience stores are not worth your money. I recommend investing in durable and long-lasting professional clippers with basic cleaning and oiling. I have been using some of my clippers for 15 years now. Whether you need clippers for personal use or for cutting your kids, nephews’, or cousins’ hair, I have compiled a list of the best professional hair clippers under $100 or less.
Check out the full list HERE
Andis T-Outliners
Arguably the best edgers ever. They’ve been around forever, and they are as durable as they can get. I’ve had some for almost 20 years. I’ve been using these since I was in high school. They had to be #1 on my list. Amazon just dropped these down to $69! You can’t beat that. Treated right, these will last you a lifetime.
Wahl Seniors
If you need a clipper for your all-even Ceaser cut. Or maybe some manscaping. This is the perfect clipper. Super reliable and still used in shops today. With basic care, these could last you a lifetime.
Wahl Hero
They’re small but super powerful. They even come with little guards, perfect for trimming up facial hair and keeping your line up straight in between cuts.
Wahl Taper 2000
These are the clippers I learned how to cut with in school. They lasted me 2 years of nonstop cutting until I eventually upgraded. I don’t think I would use them now but they are a great option to start with if you’re really on a budget.
Wahl Legend & Hero
I know a few barbers still using these. And for the price of the combo, you can’t beat it. I’d say you could easily get 10+ years out of these with the proper care. It comes with guards, so you can pretty much do any cut your skills allow you to.
Andis Stylist Combo
This combo is a STEAL! For just $106, You get a durable clipper and a solid edger. Andis has always been my favorite clipper company. You can’t go wrong with these. These could easily last 10 + years.
Oster Fast Feeds (Topaz)
These are my all-time favorite clippers. I use them in my current travel kit. They’re quiet, smooth, and reliable. The only thing with these clippers is that you may need new guards. The standard guards that come in the kit are pretty flimsy.
Basic Clipper Care
Most new clippers come with clipper oil. But they don’t come with disinfectant. Even though you’re not cutting multiple heads with these clippers, they can still trap bacteria and fungus after long periods of time. Having a can of Clippercide or Cool Care around is a great way to keep your blades fresh and clean. They also help prevent rusting of the blades.
The best place to find these is at your local beauty supply. They have the best prices. For some reason, Amazon is about 5 dollars over the average price. And we are on a budget. So check out your local small beauty supply store.
But if time is money, this link will take you to Amazon.
I hope you found this post for the best hair clippers under 100 to be helpful. Thanks for reading and let me know if you have any other questions, I’d be glad to help.
